COVID-19 Response

The Evermore Centre is taking steps to serve you safely and responsibly

The Staff and Board of The Evermore Centre recognize COVID-19 is rapidly changing our normal routines. Your health and safety and that of our The Evermore Centre staff is important to us. We have put new proactive, precautionary measures in place with a view to help keep everyone safer and help flatten the curve of COVID-19.

To minimize exposure to you and our team, effective March 17, we will only be available to clients via telephone (306-665-7272) and email (admin@evermorecentre.ca). We will not be accepting walk in clients until further notice.

Domestic Adoption Orientation Appointments (DAO):

If you have an in-office Domestic Adoption Orientation scheduled, we will be shifting it from in person to a telephone conversation.

If you are booked for a phone consult nothing will change.

Library Services:

If you would like to access our library, please call our office (306-665-7272) and we will select books based on your needs and have them mailed to you.

From the Ministry of Social Services:

  • The Ministry of Social Services continues to provide services for the Adoption Program and ensures planning is in the best interest of children.

  • We also continue to acknowledge the importance of permanency for children during the pandemic. In our domestic adoption program, the health and safety of all parties continue to be a paramount consideration, and placement of children will occur when necessary and safe to do so.

If we can assist you in any other way:

Please call our office.

With the suspension of school and all after school programs, we recognize that there will be increased pressure on families caring for children.  During this time, we encourage you to reach out via telephone, social media to access ideas for keeping your children active and engaged.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, please call the local crisis line in your area:
