We decided to do something a little different this year. We started the year off with a team-building exercise before youth trained for the Youth Speak Out (YSO) training in the beginning of October.
We reached out to Saskatoon Community Youth Arts Programming (SCYAP). They provided us with a group painting project called Pieces of the Puzzle. Each person got a mini canvas and a picture of what we had to paint. Then we put them all together to create a wonderful art piece. It was a great experience. Even more rewarding is seeing the end results. This gave us all an opportunity to get to know each other and connect before our busy training weekend.
